Author: It has come to a situation that ultra sound and pregnancy are synonymous. Whenever a woman feels the signs of pregnancy, she will visit a private clinic where ultrasonic scan facilities are available and will request for an ultrasonic pregnancy scan.
These Pregnancy Scans are non invasive tests that bring no pains to those who are subjected to the tests.
The basic test a scan of this type is able to determine is whether the woman is pregnant. In case she wants, the detail of the fetus also could be known. If the pulses are felt, if there are multiple pregnancies and such other details also could be found.
However, pregnancy tests are not the only tests that could be conducted with ultrasonic technology. Any disorder in the human body that is brought about due to abnormal growths could be detected with it. Therefore, it is of immense benefit to use ultrasonic technology for detection of abnormalities in fetuses as well as to diagnose other diseases.
